Shabbat Candle Holders
The candle
holder is the first entrance into Shabbat. It is the main
event where the family gathers together at sundown on Friday
evening to light the two candles, bless, and become
transported, as we transform ourselves from the mundane week
into the sacred Sabbath. My ceramic candle holders, with
their unique form and gentle color, are a stage for
welcoming the Sabbath Bride. They intend to gather and
enhance the light as we draw it into us with our hands and
then share it and bless our loved ones near and far.
